Skyzer

After working with Skyzer to develop a refreshed brand strategy and visual identity, we were engaged to create a unique suite of brand photography for Skyzer’s new series of coloured Eftpos terminals. These terminals are a game-changer — customisable to feature any brand colour that the heart desires and the mind can imagine.

The brand photography suite needed to inspire and intrigue viewers and encapsulate the brand essence, ‘Exceed the Expected’ — a nod to the purchasing experience — where every last detail needs to be a surprise and delight moment.

To create unique scenes that would speak to the specific target markets of the Skyzer terminals — Fashion, Beauty, Hospitality — we used colour as the primary drawcard for the Skyzer point of difference.

Channeling surrealism through styling — inspired by the likes of TOILETPAPER Magazine — the photography works hard to challenge everyday users’ passive interactions with Eftpos terminals. The process involved detailed prop-sourcing and hand-made construction of the sets, led by myself and brought to life with my wonderful team.

Listen to a podcast where I unpack the strategy and design process in-depth here.
